Maria Elvira Salazar, Republican candidate for Florida’s 27th Congressional District, is the best positioned to win the August 28th primary election, according to a recent poll conducted by the well-known, Virginia-based firm McLaughlin & Associates.
“With less than two weeks until the primary, Maria Elvira remains the candidate to beat,” confirmed the firm, adding that Maria Elvira is currently receiving 40% of the votes, with Bruno Barreiro in a very distant second place at 16%.
“I am honored by all the support we are receiving,” said Maria Elvira. “The results of this latest poll clearly show the confidence the voters have in my ability to lead on the important issues that matter most to our community –healthcare immigration reform, job creation, mass transit solutions, and education, as well as forging a better and brighter vision for our state and our country. I look forward to continuing to share my views and listening to the residents of District 27 in the days and months ahead,” she declared.
McLaughlin & Associates surveyed 300 likely August 2018 Republican primary election voters in Florida Congressional District 27th between August 14th and 16th.
